Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to finish Steps 1 through 3 before Step 4?

The Steps are best taken in order and Step 4 is designed to complete your certification, but they aren't required in strict sequence. Step 4 covers trauma-informed class design, bringing yoga into schools and communities, applied anatomy for kids, and mapping out your teaching path.

Is Step 4 offered online or in person?

Both. You can join live on Zoom with a cohort or attend in person at our Alpharetta, GA studio. Online participants have their materials mailed to them, so you're fully equipped either way.

How long is Step 4 and when does it meet?

Step 4 is 22 training hours held over a single weekend — Friday evening through Sunday late afternoon. You'll find current dates in the registration section below.

Will completing Step 4 make me a certified Grounded Kids Yoga teacher?

Yes. Step 4 is the final Step, and once all four are complete (88 contact hours plus 7 independent hours, for 95 hours total) you're a Certified Grounded Kids Yoga teacher — qualified to teach in schools, studios, therapy settings, and after-school programs, and eligible for the 95-hour RCYT with Yoga Alliance. No prior 200-hour RYT is required.

What are your payment and refund policies?

Monthly payment plans are available at checkout, and you can bundle all four Steps upfront to save $300. Registrations are fully refundable within 3 days of purchase (minus credit card fees); after 3 days you'll receive a credit good toward any training for two years.
