  • Cat Yoga for Kids: Building Strong Hands, Steady Feet, and Mindful Movement

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, our young yogis stepped into a world of imagination, movement, and mindfulness inspired by the playful rhythm of “Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?” Together, we explored a creative cat-themed yoga adventure that helped children develop body awareness, balance, strength, and focus while making plenty of wacky and wonderful…

  • A Grounded Guide for Kids: Inspired by the Wisdom of The Little Prince

Grown-ups like numbers. When you tell them about a new friend, they never ask questions about what really matters. They never ask: “What does his voice sound like?” “What games does he like best?” “Does he collect butterflies?” They ask: “How old is he?” “How many brothers does he have?” “How much does he weigh?” “How much does his father make?” Only then do they think they know him. If you tell grown-ups, “I saw a beautiful red brick house, with geraniums at the windows and doves on the roof…” They won’t be able to imagine such a house. You have to tell them “I saw a house worth a hundred thousand francs.” Then they exclaim, “What a pretty house!”…That’s the way they are. You must not hold it against them. Children should be very understanding of grown-ups.
    — The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupery
So Children, how do you master the art of Grown-up relationships one conversation at a time?

  • Stop Foot, Go Foot

Dr. Suess’s “The FOOT Book” is a delightful tribute to the diverse and multifaceted world of feet. In honor of his fun and quirky rhymes, I have put my best foot forward here, in a whimsical approach to show how to work your feet. When you keep your feet in line, you will stay in line. Clearly listen to your feet and discover where they tend to go. Do they turn out or in? Are they crooked? Do you tend to have low back pain or knee pain? Often this can be traced to your feet.
When you have clarity in your feet, your life will be sweet.
As Abraham Lincoln said “Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm.”

  • “Lightbulb!”…Recognizing The Importance of Honoring Your Self!

Have you ever felt not worthy? Maybe you lacked Self-love or maybe you didn’t surround yourself with goodness at the time. Who we surround ourselves with is who we become. If we surround ourselves with downers we begin to feel down. If we surround ourselves with happy, joyous, and delightful people we become more happy and joyful. If we were to eat junk food every single day we would begin to feel down and ucky. When we eat healthier we experience delight and Self-love. Honor Your Self! Surround yourself with goodness. “The first step toward awareness is being willing to look at yourself and your life without judgment or self-criticism.” (Iyanla Vanzant) Awareness opens the heart to new possibilities.
