Biography
My interest is the connection between health and the potential benefits of yoga started during my career as a Registered Nurse. I graduated with a Master of Science degree as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan in August 1998.
I have been practicing yoga for 20+ years and recently discovered a love for teaching children the joy and energy of yoga. My hope in offering yoga classes to children is to provide them with the opportunity to learn skills on their yoga mats that they can take into their daily lives. I like to combine my own creative stories woven around yoga poses to engage children in imaginative discovery of their own unique qualities and abilities. I incorporate the use of breathing techniques with body movement to enhance each child’s ability to focus, become grounded and realize their potential to soar.
I have completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training. In addition, I have completed the “Quest for Elevation” 95 hour RCYS certification through Grounded Kids Yoga of Atlanta.

Miss Alexia Katrina Gyorody
Biography
Alexia’s personal journey of Yoga began in 2006 as a way to heal from loss and trauma. In 2018 it would become vital in her recovery from addiction. That same year, she completed Yoga Teacher Training and launched Peanut Yogini Yoga. Clients choose from private Yoga instruction, small Yoga group private classes, and are invited to a free, monthly community gathering. Alexia holds four certifications and incorporates elements of Yoga’s eight limbs into every class.
Alexia’s professional journey began at just 12 years old, fueled by her determination to afford a Corgi puppy and shopping trips to Limited Too—luxuries beyond her working-class family’s means. Eager to achieve her goals, she persuaded her parents to sign a work release, allowing her to spend weekends at Atlasta Farm. These formative experiences instilled in her a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
