Melissa R. Troutman
SUMMARY I have studied ballet and tap since I was 5 years old. I have practiced yoga and pilates since my days in college. I was a lifeguard and swim instructor to all ages for 12 years. I love children and their curiosity to learn new activities. Teaching yoga to children and adults is a passion of mine. I am available to teach weekly classes, summer camps, and after school programs. I also offer private sessions.

Biography

I currently have two main yoga goals. One, to continue my yoga practice with greater meaning and understanding; and two, continue to bring yoga into my kid’s lives. I am looking forward to moving forward on this journey together with my kids, and Grounded Kids Yoga has helped me lay a strong foundation. I am considering further yoga training through Grounded to explore where that path may take me. Grounded step 1 was an enlightening experience!
