Curious about our offerings?  If you don’t find your answer here,  please contact us.

Do we ever! Aside from hundreds of anecdotal proof from individual students, families, classrooms and whole schools, we have a collection of research papers in this recent blog post.

We suggest ages 7 to 11 for Grounded Kids classes, ages 3-6 for Pre-Grounded, and ages 12-14 for Grounded Teens. We highly recommend Grounded Family yoga where kids and their grown-ups practice together. Many of our teachers enjoy teaching Grounded Grown-Ups and even bring our poses and methods to senior centers.

If you are unable to attend a training we offer a refund minus $50 processing fee. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the training, tuition is applied to another training date at any location within one year.

We now offer live Zoom online trainings that are 100% approved for the 95 hour Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher Certification through Yoga Alliance.

Please fill out the contact form if you would like to host a training where you live. We even travel internationally! We will reply asap!

During our individual training steps we do not provide meals but you are welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks. We will take a long enough lunch break for dining out and provide water and hot tea. We suggest you google nearby hotels and let us know if you’d to be on a list to possibly share a room.

During our intensives and immersions, there may be an option to participate in catered meals and even on site housing. It depends on the location so look at the details for the specific event you are interested in attending.

Yes, we offer early bird pricing which is a discount of $50.00.  Since our program delivers an enormous value for the price, we don’t offer additional discounts. We do offer a payment plan of 3 payments once a month for 3 months. Email amy@groundedkids.com to request a payment plan. Payment plans do not qualify for the early bird discount.

The tuition for intensives and immersions is less than if you were to attend the individual training steps.

We have several Grounded Kids curriculums. Both Grounded in Color and Grounded in Elements offer webinars. Take a look at our store for curriculum, games and webinars! Check our our facebook, instagram and vimeo channel for inspirations and ideas.

Only 87 face to face hours are required. The other hours are earned through independent reading and practice.

Yes, as long as you do not need the 95 hour certification from Grounded Kids.

Our trainings each count as continuing education with Yoga Alliance. Also, our certification programs are approved by YA as a 95 hour specialty in children’s yoga (RCYT) if you have your 200 hour.

We suggest trying to complete within a year so you don’t lose momentum.

Consider why you asked this question and what it is that you are seeking. That being said, we offer a certification track that can be completed within 6 months as individual steps and options for summer 7 day immersions and 10 day intensives.

No, you don’t have to already be a yoga teacher. You need a desire to teach children through the realm of Grounded Kids yoga.

No, we don’t have any requirements in order to take the training. We suggest you establish a yoga practice that honors your body and come with an open heart, patient mind and enthusiastic spirit.

No, Yoga Alliance recently changed that requirement. You can complete your 95 hour RCYT training before your 200 hour RYT training.  Here is a link to that information on the Yoga Alliance website.
