For Winter/Spring 2020 we will be offering two days to choose from:

MONDAYS 2:30 to 3:45: Grades K-2

Practice stress relief and emotional balancing. Clear your mind with mantras, mudras and breathing techniques.  Learn how to self sooth and relax. Expect gentle poses, longer visualizations and resting time.

WEDNESDAYS 2:30 to 3:45:  Grades 3-5

Cultivate inner awareness and how to be your best self in the world. Learn sequences of yoga poses that you can teach to others.  Earn bandanas as a symbol of mastering levels with flying colors.Expect creative sequences, challenging poses and energetic movements.

Yoga Club Release Form

Grounded Kids Yoga (GKY) limit classes to a size that is appropriate for the space provided by the school and is manageable for the teacher. GKY clubs are designed to be fun and meaningful for the children. In order to ensure each child enjoys the many benefits of yoga, GKY teachers are thoroughly trained to channel the children’s energy in constructive ways and teach each child how to manage their own energy through movement, breathing techniques and yoga games. Parents will be contacted with any behavior concerns. If behavior problems continue to disrupt the class, GKY reserves the right to remove the child from the club. The parents will be reimbursed for any classes remaining in the session.
